Gustavo Sarno

Gustavo Sarno, o meglio  Gusar, è ingegnere navale. Nato a Pavia,  vive a Livorno da molti anni.

Ha sempre dipinto preferendo rimanere appartato e si è aperto al mondo delle esposizioni solo da poco tempo.

La sua pittura astratta ha molti riferimenti al reale. Ora un tramonto, ora una tempesta, una notte di stelle, un campo fiorito.

Il colore è trattato con tecniche particolari per farlo emergere da piani differenti, per tradurlo in forti sensazioni emozionali, per evocare forme di paesaggio surreale

Gustavo Sarno, Gusar, is a naval engineer. Born in Pavia, he lives in Livorno for many years.

He always painted preferring to stay secluded and he opened to the world of exhibitions only recently.

His abstract painting has many references to reality. Now a sunset, now a storm, a night of stars, a flowery field.

The color is treated with special techniques to make it emerge from different levels, to translate into strong emotional feelings, to evoke forms of surreal landscape
