Andrea Guasti
Andrea Guasti è nato a Firenze nel 1947. Architetto e pittore, vive a Pisa dove ha lo studio.
Fin dagli anni ’80 si dedica ad allestimenti e decorazioni di ambienti in Italia e nel Medio Oriente.
Da qualche tempo è entrato nel circuito espositivo, dopo aver tenuto per lunghi anni la sua pittura in circuiti privati legati alla sua professione.
La sua è una pittura figurativa nella quale il protagonista è il colore. Gettato d’impulso, in rapidi gesti, è usato come mezzo per raccontare in modo fresco e vivo la sua percezione inconscia ed istintiva della realtà.
Andrea Guasti was born in Florence in 1947. Architect and painter, lives in Pisa, where he has a studio. Since the ’80 he works in the area of interior design in Italy and the Middle East.
Recently he entered the exhibition circuit, after taking his painting for many years in private circuits related to his profession.
His painting is figurative, in which the protagonist is the color. Thrown on impulse, swiftly, the color is used as a mean of telling in a fresh and lively way his unconscious and instinctive perception of reality.
